 1 - LEAGUE IDENTITY

  • 1.1 "The Big League 2", (TBL 2) is a Dynasty league with the purpose of providing elite level fantasy football competition year after year.
    • Qualification for entry into the league as a General Manager (GM) of a team will be awarded by the TBL 2 Commissioner on a case-by-case basis.
    • GMs may return each year provided they remain in good standing with the TBL 2 Commissioner and according to league rules.
  • 1.2 The purpose of this league does not include gambling or any other organized activity designed for the accumulation of profit.
    • Any award given to the winner(s) of this league is considered minor and supplementary to the main goal of having fun while competing in an elite fantasy football league.
  • 1.3 TBL 2 will use the website www.tbl2.com as the main league website for league rules, roster dynamics and historical documentation. 
    • TBL 2 will use the official TBL Forum for information, news and any off-season transaction, such as RFA or off-season trades.
  • 1.4 The TBL 2 Commissioner reserves the right to make any and all changes deemed necessary at any time during the existence of the league to ensure a competitive and fun environment for all.
    • Changes include, but are not limited to, modification of League By-Laws, scoring rules, roster changes, playoff qualification rules, tiebreaker rules, roster transactions, roster entry deadlines, waiver wire structure, schedule changes, draft time, draft structure, owner access, owner privileges and any other facet of the league.
    • These League Rules are intended to serve as a guide and therefore not all scenarios will be covered.
    • In the event of a question regarding the interpretation of any of the Rules listed below, the TBL 2 Commissioner will have final interpretation and will post the interpretation on the league forum.
  • 1.5 GMs can petition to make changes to the league structure.
    • Implementation requires approval by the TBL 2 Commissioner regardless of the number of GMs in favor of, or opposed to, the proposed petition.

 

 2 - LEAGUE STRUCTURE

  • 2.1 TBL2 consists of sixteen (16) teams organized into four (4) divisions, within two (2) conferences.
    • The UNITED FOOTBALL CONFERENCE (UFC) 
      • NORTH and EAST Divisions
    • The LIBERTY FOOTBALL CONFERENCE (LFC)
      • SOUTH and WEST Divisions
  • 2.2 TBL2 is a Dynasty league, which means that each team will carry over their roster from year to year.
    • Teams will manage their rosters to a Contract Cap of 100 contract years.
  • 2.3 Teams will compete head-to-head and play a total of 17 games over the course of the Fantasy Football Regular Season.
    • The Fantasy Football Regular Season will begin with Week 1 of the NFL, and end with the completion of Week 13 of the NFL.
    • The Fantasy Football Post Season will being with Week 14 of the NFL, and end with the completeion of the League Championship Game, known as the "Blitz Bowl", in either Week 16 or Week 17 of the NFL..
    • The Fantasy Football Off-Season will begin with the completion of the Blitz Bowl, and end with the start of Week 1 of the NFL regular season.

 

 3 - GM REQUIREMENTS

  • 3.1 Each GM will be required to pay a $50.00 entry fee.
    • The cost of running the league is $150.00.
    • The remaining will be distributed to the participants of the Blitz Bowl.
  • 3.2 League payment is due in full from each GM by July 1st.
    • Failure to have the entry fees paid in full by August 1st will result in immediate expulsion from the league.
  • 3.3 Each GM must have reliable Internet access.
  • 3.4 Each GM will be required to submit to the TBL 2 Commissioner their name, a valid email address and phone number that they can be reached at.
    • Each GM, by agreeing to play in this league, waives any legal claim against the TBL 2 Commissioner.
    • Agreement to play in this league and acceptance of membership in this league are both defined by payment in full of league fees.
  • 3.5 All GMs are required to register and actively monitor the TBL forum located at http://thebigleague.proboards18.com/index.cgi 
  • 3.6 Any and all league requirements may be waived with approval by the TBL 2 Commissioner.
  • 3.7 GMs are expected to handle themselves in a responsible and appropriate manner.
    • Inappropriate behavior includes use of abusive language, verbal attacks or any other immature action that detracts from the enjoyment of the league by all GMs as deemed by the TBL 2 Commissioner.
  • 3.8 GMs acting inappropriately can face immediate expulsion from the league at the discretion of the TBL 2 Commissioner.
    • Any GM expelled from the league will not have any part of the league entry fee reimbursed, is immediately disqualified from any league awards and will have a permanent ban on any future leagues.
  • 3.9 GMs are expected to be extremely active in team management and monitoring of league events.
    • Inactive GMs will be evaluated and replaced at the discretion of the TBL 2 Commissioner.
 

 4 - SCHEDULE / PLAYOFFS

  • 4.1 The Fantasy Football regular season corresponds to the NFL season beginning week one (1) and ending with the conclusion of week thirteen (13).
    • Each team will play a seventeen (17) game schedule during the regular season.
    • There will be four (4) weeks of double-header games to be played during non-BYE weeks by NFL teams.
    • The schedule will be set up so that each team will play the other teams in their own division twice, while playing the teams in the other division (within the same conference) once.
    • Teams will also play 7 out of the 8 teams from the opposite Conference, with the one un-played matchup to be rotated each year.
  • 4.2 The Fantasy Football postseason corresponds to the NFL season beginning week fourteen (14) and ending with the conclusion of the Blitz Bowl.
    • Playoff qualifiers are determined by final rankings at the end of the Fantasy Football regular season.
    • Eight (8) teams will qualify for post-season play.
  • 4.3 Rankings within a Division and/or Conference are determined first by overall winning percentage.
  • 4.4 In the event teams are tied with the same winning percentage, the following are the tie breakers, in order:
    • Head to Head record (however, if 3 or more teams are tied, then H2H record does not apply)
    • Division record
    • Total points scored (points scored during double-header weeks only count once)
    • Points scored in head to head competition.
  • 4.5 The top teams from each division will qualify for postseason play.
    • Two (2) Wild Card teams from each Conference, will also qualify for postseason play.
    • Wild Card teams CAN come from the same Division.
  • 4.6 Teams will be seeded within their Conference from 1 to 4, where the top seed is the Division winner with the better winning percentage. See 4.4 for a tie-breaker.
  • 4.7 In the first week of postseason play, the #1 seed will play the #4 seed; and the #2 seed will play the #3 seed, within their own Conference.
  • 4.8 In the second week of the postseason, the winners from the first week, will face each other to determine the Conference Champion.
    • In the event of a tie during any game in the first two weeks of postseason play, the home team will automatically be declared the victor.
    • The team with the more favorable seeding will be considered the home team.
  • 4.9 In the final week of postseason play, the two conference winners will face each in the Blitz Bowl.
    • The two Conference runner-up teams will face each other, with the winner getting the more favorable draft position and 25 BLB's .
    • In the event of a tie during the final week of postseason play, teams will submit a line-up in Week 17 and play "Overtime". This applies to both the League Championship and the Consolation game.
    • In the event of a tie after Week 17, then the team who has the highest scoring individual starter (combined points from Weeks 16 & 17) will be declared the winner. (If there is a tie, then the next highest scorer will determine the winner, and so-on.)
  • 4.10 The "Shodan Bowl"
    • All eight (8) teams who do not qualify for postseason play will compete in the "Shodan Bowl".
    • The Shodan Bowl will run during weeks 14 thru 16, and playoff 'rules' above will apply.
    • The eventual winner will receive a 25 BLB award.
    • Draft positions for the following year will not be affected by the outcome of the Shodan Bowl.

 

 5 - ANNUAL DRAFT

  • 5.1 There will be a six (6) round Rookie / UFA Draft each year to be conducted in late August.
    • The tentative date and time of each annual draft will be the final Sunday of August at 8:00pm EST. (subject to change)
    • Each GM is responsible to be present for the annual redraft or have a representative present with authority to make decisions for their team.
    • Teams with no representative present for the annual redraft will have their picks selected by the RTSports draft software.
    • NFL rookies (first year NFL players) and any UFAs may be selected in the annual redraft.
    • The Annual Draft will be conducted using RTSports drafting software.
  • 5.2 The redraft is a traditional straight draft, with NO serpentine. (1-16, 1-16, etc).
  • 5.3 The draft order is established based on the standings from the previous Fantasy Football season, with the worst team having the first overall pick.
    • Draft positions one (1) through eight (8) correspond to the reverse rankings of the eight (8) non-qualifying teams from the previous Fantasy Football season, regardless of which conference a particular team resides in.
    • Draft positions nine (9) thru twelve (12) correspond to the reverse rankings of the four (4) losing teams during the first week of postseason play.
    • Draft position thirteen (13) corresponds to the winning team (i.e. 3rd place) in the consolation game during Championship Week.
    • Draft position fourteen (14) corresponds to the losing team (i.e. 4th place) in the consolation game during Championship Week.
    • Draft position fifteen (15) corresponds to the TBL 2 Blitz Bowl Runner-Up.
    • Draft position sixteen (16) corresponds to the TBL 2 Blitz Bowl Champion.
  • 5.4 Trading of draft picks is permitted between teams in accordance with the rules detailed in the Trade section of the League By-Laws.
    • GM's will be permitted to trade future draft picks, limited to the CURRENT Season, plus 2 future seasons.
  • 5.5 The Annual Draft will be performed using the RTSports draft software.
    • An online chatroom and or a conference call may be set up to assist GM's with making picks in the event of technical issues.
    • It is the responsibility of each individual GM to ensure that a selection or transaction is made within the allowed time window when their team is on the clock regardless of any technical difficulties excluding extreme acts of nature or other circumstances outside the control of the GM.
    • The TBL 2 Commissioner has the right to modify the draft selection time window, draft order, selected players or any other parameter to ensure that the draft operates in accordance with league rules.
  • 5.6 GMs will have a window of two (2) minutes to make a transaction during the draft.
    • Transactions consist of either making a player selection or making a team trade with the current draft pick.
    • If a trade is made with the draft selection on the clock then the team acquiring the pick will have a full two (2) minutes to make a selection after acquiring the draft selection.
 

6 - CONTRACT YEARS

  • 6.1 TBL 2 uses a contract year cap to determine roster compositions, and a contract year is known as a Big League Year (BLY).
    • All player contracts will decrease by one year after the RTSports website has been reset which is typically, around March 1st each year.
  • 6.2 Each team will have a contract year cap of 100 years to distribute in the form of contracts to their players
    • Each team must have at least 20 years assigned in the form of contracts to their players at all times during the Fantasy Football Regular Season.
    • The maximum length of a player contract is 7 years and the minimum is 1 year.
  • 6.3 The are no position limits with the following exceptions:
    • Kickers are restricted to a maximum of two (2) per team.
  • 6.4 Players taken in the annual Rookie/UFA Draft may have contract years assigned without limit or transaction costs (other than league limitations).
  • 6.5 Players taken during the weekly Waiver Wire (or Add/Drop) are immediately assigned a contract of one (1) year.
    • At only one time during the regular season, each team may lengthen the contract of one player acquired via Free Agency or Waiver Wire by one contract year at a cost of 20 BLBs.
  • 6.6 Traded Players carry over their current number of contract years to the new franchise.
    • After the trade deadline has ended for the season, and before 12/31, a team may lengthen the contract of one player acquired via Trade by one contract year at a cost of 20 BLBs.
  • 6.7 During the off-season Roster Resign Period, each team may extend the contract of any one player on their roster by one contract year.
    • This contract extension costs 20 BLBs times the number of consecutive years that the player has been on the team, with partial years rounded up.
  • 6.8 Players acquired via Restricted Free Agency may have contract years assigned without limit or transaction costs (other than league limitations).
  • 6.9 GMs may buy-down, or buy-out the contract years of any player on their team at any time at a cost of 10 BLBs per contract year.
  • 6.10 Any player who has his entire contract bought out immediately becomes a UFA and is dropped from the franchises roster. 
  • 6.11 Teams may use an Injured Reserve (IR) tag on players who are placed on "IR" in the NFL.
    • Players can be placed on I/R beginning on Labor Day, each calendar year.
    • Once a player is tagged on I/R, they will not be taken off until after the Blitz Bowl.
    • GM's will receive a one (1) contract year credit for each player placed on I/R, regardless of the number of contract years assigned to that player.
    • Players on I/R can not be traded.

 

 7 - STARTING LINEUP

  • 7.1 All teams will submit a thirteen (13) player starting lineup consisting of the following:
  • 7.2 EIGHT (8) OFFENSIVE PLAYERS:
    • one (1) QB
    • one (1) RB (max 3)
    • two (2) WR (max 4)
    • one (1) TE (max 2)
    • one (1) K
    • two (2) Offensive Flex players (RB, WR or TE)
  • 7.3 FIVE (5) DEFENSIVE PLAYERS:
    • one (1) DL (max 2)
    • one (1) LB (max 2)
    • one (1) DB (max 2)
    • two (2) Defensive Flex players (DL, LB or DB)
  • 7.4 All teams must submit a valid starting lineup each week prior to the start of the NFL game that their starting players are scheduled to play in.
    • A valid starting lineup is defined as having all starters that are not on BYEs, injured reserved, retired, declared inactive up to one day before they are scheduled to play, declared officially "out" by the team up to one day before they are scheduled to play, suspended, or any other circumstance in which the GM had definitive evidence that the player was not going to play up to one twenty four (24) hour period before they are scheduled to play.
    • The first violation of not submitting a valid starting lineup will be a warning to the GM.
    • The second violation of not submitting a valid starting lineup will result in a fine of 10 BLBs.
    • Each subsequent violation of not submitting a valid starting lineup will result in a fine of 50 BLBs.
    • The TBL 2 Commissioner reserves the right to EXPELL said GM from the league if the above violations occurred in consecutive weeks.
    • The TBL 2 Commissioner reserves the right to modify valid starting lineup rules to account for extreme circumstances (i.e. births of children, acts of nature, mandatory college, etc...).
    • It is understood that the valid starting lineup rule is in existence for the rare circumstance of owners not being competitive or trying to influence draft position and is not meant to cover circumstances beyond the GM's reasonable control.

 

 8 - WEEKLY TRANSACTIONS

  • 8.1 Teams may acquire a maximum of five (5) players per week
  • 8.2 Waiver Wire: All GMs may place bids on UFAs during the waiver wire period, beginning after the first week of the Fantasy Football Regular season, and ending with the conclusion of the Blitz Bowl.
    • The waiver wire period will begin on Tuesday morning and will end on Wednesday night at 11:00 pm (EST) each week.
    • All waiver wire bids on UFAs will be done via blind-bidding using the RTSports host site.
    • Bids will be made using BLBs from each teams vault.
    • The team with the highest bid will be awarded the UFA.
    • In the event of a tie bid the tiebreaker will be awarded to the GM that placed their bid first as recorded by the RTSports host site.
    • Teams that bid higher than the amount of BLBs in their vault will have the transaction automatically voided.
  • 8.3 Free Agent Add: The open period for Free Agent transactions will begin every Thursday at 7:00 am EST and conclude on Monday at 9:00 pm EST.
    • Players may not be added or dropped once their game has started.
    • Each Player added during this period will cost $1 blb

     

  • 9.1 GMs may perform trades of players, draft picks and/or BLB's at any time during the open Trading Period.
    • Open trading will resume once the RTSports website has been reset which is typically, around March 1st each year.
    • During the regular season, the Weekly trading deadline will be 12:30 pm EST each Sunday.
    • The trading deadline for the regular season will be 12:30 pm EST on Sunday of week ten (10) of the NFL season.
  • 9.2 Commissioner Approval of trades will not be required during the Fantasy Football Regular Season
    • This is to ensure that trades are processed timely once both owners have accepted the trade offers.
    • Any BLB's that are included in a trade will be manually credited / debited by the commissioner to the GM's account as soon as possible.
  • 9.3 Trading of Future Draft Picks
    • GM's will be permitted to trade future draft picks, limited to the CURRENT Season, plus 2 future seasons.
    • The 'Trade Season' is defined as beginning on March 1st, and ending with the weekly deadline in Week 10 of the NFL Season, during the same calendar year
      • Example: During the 2011 Trade Season, you can trade draft picks from: 2011, 2012 and 2013 only.
      • Example: During the 2012 Trade Season, you can trade draft picks from: 2012, 2013 and 2014 only.
 

 10 - ROSTER RESIGN PERIOD

  • 10.1 The Roster Resign Period begins once the RTSports website has been reset which is typically, around March 1st each year, and ends at 9:00pm EST the day before Restriced Free Agency begins.
  • 10.2 During the Roster Resign Period, GM's may peform the following actions:
    • GMs may extend the contract of one player on their roster by one contract year at the cost of 20 BLBs times the number of consecutive years the player has been on the franchise, with partial years rounded up.
    • GMs may place a Transition Tag on one player that would be headed for Restricted Free Agency (RFA), at the cost of 20 BLBs. 
      • A player with a Transition Tag placed on him requires that the opening bid for this player would begin at 21 BLBs.
      • If another team acquires a Transition tagged player, that team must pay compensation of one (1) SECOND ROUND draft pick in the next annual Rookie Draft to the team that placed the tag on the player, and the tagging owner will be refunded his initial BLB deposit.
    • GMs may place a Franchise Tag on one player that would be headed for Restricted Free Agency (RFA), at the cost of 50 BLBs
      • A player with a Franchise Tag placed on him requires that the opening bid for this player would begin at 51 BLBs.
      • If another team acquires a Franchise tagged player, that team must pay compensation of one (1) FIRST ROUND draft pick in the next annual Rookie Draft to the team that placed the tag on the player, and the tagging owner will be refunded his initial BLB deposit.
  • 10.3 GM's must use the TBL2 RFA Headquarters Forum to announce their roster designations (Contract Extension, Franchise Tag and Transition Tag).
    • GM's must create a separate thread within the above forum to announce their roster designations.
    • The thread must inclue the player's name in the title and must include your roster designation within the body.

 

  • 11.1 Restricted Free Agency begins on May 1st at 9:00 am EST.
  • 11.2 RFAs are defined as any player on a teams roster whose contract has reached zero (0) BLY's.
    • The TBL 2 Commissioner will make a listing of all RFA's and all Tagged players available on the league website.
  • 11.3 During RFA, GMs may place bids on RFAs using the TBL 2 RFA Headquarters Forum.
    • A valid bid includes the name of the player and the name of the player's current franchise.
    • GM's may place multiple bids on the same player, provided that the next bid is higher than the previous bid.
    • The GM whose team the player currently belongs on only has to match the highest bid in order to be considered the high bidder
  • 11.4 A high bid that lasts until 10:00 pm (EST) the following calendar day is declared the winning bid.
    • If more than one GM places a bid for the same BLB amount, the earliest bid will take precedence.
    • The date and time-stamp used on the TBL forum will determine the earlier bid, however if the date and time-stamp are the same, then whichever post is on top will be considered the earlier bid.
  • 11.5 Once a bid is placed it can not be rescinded or altered in any way.
    • Any bid on the message board that has been modified will be declared invalid and the bidding franchise will be penalized 25 BLBs.
    • Teams that bid higher than the amount of BLBs in their vault, or that do not have a compesatory draft pick for tagged players, will have their transactions voided, and will be subject to a 25 BLB penalty. .
    • In the event of a voided Restricted Free Agency transaction the player will only be offered to the next highest bidder at the last bid amount and, if the bidder does not choose to take the player, they will remain a RFA.
  • 11.6 If no team acquires a player with the Franchise or Transition tag by the end of the designated period, the tagged players can have contract years assigned immediately without limit (other than league limitations) and at no additional transaction costs.
  • 11.7 GM's will have one (1) week from the end of the RFA session to assign contract years (within league limitations and at no additional transaction costs) to players acquired via RFA process.
    • GM's must use the TBL 2 RFA Headquarters Forum to announce these contract assignments.
    • If a player is not assigned a contract within one (1) week from the end of the RFA session, they will automatically be assigned to a one (1) year contract.
  • 11.8 At the end of the RFA period, any player not acquired will immediately become an Unrestricted Free Agent (UFA).
    • UFAs will then only be available through the annual Rookie/UFA Draft and through waiver wire/UFA protocols during the Fantasy Football Regular Season.
 

 12 - OTHER TRANSACTION PROTOCOLS

  • 12.1 At any time, GM's can buy-out, or buy-down the contract of a player at a cost of 10 BLBs per contract year.
    • This can be done in order to free up roster space under the contract year cap.
  • 12.2 In the case that an NFL player dies, or unexpectedly retires due to an injury during the course of the regular season, that player can be dropped from the roster of the Franchise that he is on at no cost of BLBs.
    • If a player retires for any other reason, the GM must buy-out that players contract in order to drop him, or retain him until his contract expires.

 

 13 - FRANCHISE FINANCIAL PROTOCOLS

  • 13.1 The Big League Buck (BLB) is the currency of TBL 2.
    • BLBs are used to finance various transactions as detailed in the League Bylaws.
  • 13.2 Franchises will be awarded an annual allotment of 100 BLBs after the annual Rookie Draft, and prior to the first NFL Regular Season game..
  • 13.3 BLBs will carry over season to season.
  • 13.4 BLBs will be awarded to franchises after the end of the season for various league awards and by meeting certain criteria.
    • 50 BLBs will be awarded to the TBL 2 Blitz Bowl Champion.
    • 25 BLBs will be awarded to the TBL 2 Blitz Bowl Runner-up.
    • 25 BLBs will be awarded to the TBL 2 Consolation game winner (3rd place)
    • 25 BLBs will be awarded to the Shodan Bowl winner.
    • 5 BLBs will be awarded to GMs for every player on their roster voted to the TBL 2 Pro Bowl.
    • BLBs will be awarded to the winner(s) of the following challenges:
      • NCAA March Madness Tournament
      • NFL Rookie Draft pick-em Challenge
      • NFL straight-up pick'em pool
        • 1st place = 40 BLBs. 2nd place = 30 BLBs. 3rd place = 20 BLBs. 4th place = 10 BLBs
        • Any ties will split the combined award.
    • Random BLBs will be awarded at the discretion of the TBL 2 Commissioner for participation in various league activities and for actions by GMs which enhanced the competitive fun of the league.
  • 13.5 BLBs may not be shared but may be traded with players and/or draft picks.
  • 13.6 It is the responsibility of each GM to manage their team finances and the amount of BLBs in their team vault.
    • The TBL 2 Commissioner will regularly update the BLBs in each team's vault on the RTSports Fees page.
  • 13.7 In the event that a penalty causes a negative balance of BLBs in a team's vault, that team is suspended from any transactions, other than starting lineup changes , until such time as the vault balance is positive.
    • Trades will also be suspended, however an exception will be made if a trade is being made which includes the GM receiving BLB's to give them a positive balance.

 

 14 - SCORING SYSTEM

  • 14.1 Passing scoring rules:
    • 5pts awarded for a passing TD
    • 2pts awarded for a TD play of 50 yards of more
    • 2pts awarded for a passing 2pt conversion
    • 2pts deducted for each interception thrown
    • 2pts deducted for each fumble lost
    • QBs shall be awarded 3 bonus points for reaching 30 completions in a game
    • QBs shall be awarded 0.04 pts for each combined passing, rushing and receiving yard.
    • QBs shall be awarded 5 bonus points for each 100 total passing, rushing and receiving yards starting with 300 total passing, rushing and receiving yards.
  • 14.2 Rushing scoring rules:
    • 5pts awarded for a rushing TD
    • 2pts awarded for a TD play of 50 yards of more
    • 2pts awarded for a rushing 2pt conversion
    • 2pts deducted for each fumble lost
    • 3 bonus points awarded for reaching 25 rushing attempts in a game
  • 14.3 Receiving scoring rules:
    • 5pts awarded for a receiving TD
    • 2pts awarded for a TD play of 50 yards of more
    • 2pts awarded for a receiving 2pt conversion
    • 1pt awarded for each reception
    • 2pts deducted for each fumble lost
    • 3 bonus points awarded for reaching 10 receptions in a game
  • 14.4 Combined Yardage scoring rules:
    • RBs, WRs and TEs shall be awarded 0.05pts for each combined passing, rushing and receiving yard.
    • RBs, WRs and TEs shall be awarded 5 bonus points for each 50 total passing, rushing and receiving yards starting with 100 total passing, rushing and receiving yards
  • 14.5 Kicking scoring rules:
    • 3pts awarded for each FG made
    • 0.1 bonus point for every 1 yards of distance on successful FGs starting with 31 yards, (examples):
      • 31 yards = 3.1 points
      • 45 yards = 4.5 points
      • 53 yards = 5.3 points
    • 1pt awarded for a successful PAT
    • 1pt deducted for each FG missed
    • 1pt deducted for each missed PAT
  • 14.6 Special Teams scoring rules (points will be given to the individual players):
    • 6pts awarded for a Special Teams TD
    • 2pts awarded for a TD play of 50 yards of more
    • 0.04pts awarded for each combined Kickoff and Punt Return yard.
  • 14.7 DL scoring rules:
    • 2pts for a Fumble Recovery
    • 2pts for a Forced Fumble
    • 4pts for an Interception
    • 6pts for a TD
    • 2pts awarded for a TD play of 50 yards of more
    • 2pts for every 1/2 Sack (4pts for solo sack)
    • 2pts for every one (1) tackle
    • 0.5pts for every one (1) assist
    • 3pts bonus for every five (5) solo tackles
    • 2pts for every one (1) pass defended
  • 14.8 LB and DB scoring rules:
    • 2pts for a Fumble Recovery
    • 2pts for a Forced Fumble

  • 14.9 In the event of a controversy concerning interpretation of NFL events as they translate to TBL 2 fantasy points, the TBL 2 Commissioner will have final interpretation.

 15 - LEAGUE EXTRAS

  • 15.1 TBL 2 Pro Bowl
    • After week 10, ballots will be distributed to every GM to vote for players to be named to the TBL 2 Pro Bowl.
    • All GMs that participate will earn 5 BLBs.
    • Ballots are due back to the TBL 2 Commissioner by the end of week 13 at which time they will be tallied.
    • GM's cannot vote for players on their own team.
    • Players voted to the TBL 2 Pro Bowl will be announced before the start of week 14 on the league main website.
    • Each player who earns TBL 2 Pro Bowl honors will earn 5 BLBs for their GM. 
  • 15.2 TBL 2 will award BLBs to the winner(s) of the following challenges:
    • NCAA March Madness Tournament
    • NFL Rookie Draft pick-em Challenge
    • NFL straight-up pick'em pool
      • 1st place = 40 BLBs. 2nd place = 30 BLBs. 3rd place = 20 BLBs. 4th place = 10 BLBs
      • Any ties will split the combined award.

 

 16 - LEAGUE ARCHIVES

  • 16.1 The TBL 2 Commissioner will maintain all historical records of the league.
    • All league records and archives will be posted on the TBL 2 league website.

 

 

 17 - TBL 2 BYLAW AMENDMENT POLICY

  • 17.1 The TBL 2 Bylaws will be reviewed by the TBL 2 Commissioner every year after the end of the TBL 2 Blitz Bowl, but before the annual RFA for improvements.
    • Suggestions made by GMs for league improvements will be considered at the discretion of the TBL 2 Commissioner.
    • An annual Owners Meeting may be held during the off-season each year in order to discuss proposals. 
    • All proposals / improvements must be approved or rejected prior to the start of the RFA process.
  • 17.2 All amendments to the TBL 2 Bylaws will be communicated to GMs through the TBL 2 main league site.
  • 17.3 The TBL 2 Commissioner reserves the right to make changes to the TBL 2 Bylaws at any time, however will endeavor to only make changes during the above Fantasy Football Offseason to maintain league integrity.
  • 17.4 The TBL 2 Commissioner will allow opposing sides on an issue deemed large enough by the TBL 2 Commissioner to have league wide effects to present their case in the form of an organized debate and/or a league wide vote, designed to last not longer than a single week, to be defined as follows: 
    • Each GM will have the opportunity to voice their opinions about by-law issues.  
    • Once the GM's have voiced their opinions, the TBL 2 Commish will post a league-wide poll and all GM's will have the opportunity to vote on the issue.
    • Poll's on the forum will run for no longer than one week. 
    • Within 48 hours after the poll has been closed, the TBL 2 Commissioner will review the comments and voting results, and make a ruling that will be posted on the main league website and implemented as the situation requires. 
    • Any and all debates will be conducted by GMs in a mature manner with appropriate behavior as defined in the TBL 2 League Bylaws. 
    • The TBL 2 Commissioner's decision is final without option of appeal and applies to all members of TBL 2.
    • In the event of a question regarding the interpretation of any of the Rules listed above, the TBL 2 Commissioner will have final interpretation and will post the interpretation on the league forum as well as make any necessary adjustments to the League Rules to accomodate the interpretation.
